Push Snowboarding was a collaborative R&D project between Nokia and Burton to create a new kind of connected snowboarding, integrating Burton kit, Nokia devices with bespoke technology. The project was created with an open source philosophy involving tech and creative communities in the development of the kit and outputted data, all of which was made available to download on the website. A series of films were made to chart the process and events were held and the U.S and European Open Championships to further testing with Burton pro riders and the public alike.
